Zapper offers several different ways to value NFTs, to make it easier for you to decide what price you want to set your NFTs at, or what is a fair offer to make for an NFT you have your eye on.
The “Estimated Value” metric is different from both the listed price of an NFT, and the floor price of a collection. We generate an estimated value for each NFT using an algorithm that compares the leading trait or most valuable trait to the average value of the collection, and to any sale variations related to that trait within the collection.
For example, the Cryptopunk with the highest rarity on Zapper, Cryptopunk #8348, displays an estimated value of 125.4 ETH. This is the estimated value for that particular NFT, despite the floor price for the collection being ~80 ETH. Our algorithm factors in the value of the rare “Top Hat” trait, and the fact that the last sale price of a Cryptopunk with this trait was 125.4 ETH.
