The “Estimated Value” metric is different from both the listed price of an NFT, and the floor price of a collection. We generate an estimated value for each NFT using an algorithm that compares the leading trait or most valuable trait to the average value of the collection, and to any sale variations related to that trait within the collection.
For example, the Cryptopunk with the highest rarity on Zapper, Cryptopunk #8348, displays an estimated value superior to the floor price. Our algorithm factors in the value of the rare “Top Hat” trait, and the fact that the last sale price of a Cryptopunk with this trait was above the floor price.
